Configure Infotype 0416 in PA70
How do I go about configuring IT0416 so that its accessible in PA70?
PA70 Fast Entry lets you update infotypes of several employees one screen. For example, if you want to pay Rs. 1000 as travel allowance for 20 employees, the regular method is to open each of their master data, adding the data and saving the entry, before moving on to the next employee. Instead, open PA70, select which infotype you want to update (basic pay, additional payments etc), type in the emp nos of the employees who are to get the allowance, and the amount of the allowance… all on the same screen. When you save the transaction, the relevant infotype for all those employees is updated.
Similar to PA70 Fast Entry is PA71, which is the same, but is applicable for Time Data (Attendance, absence, quotas etc).
For Infotypes IT 416 there is no screen assigned for fast entry. You can assign some new screen, compatible to Fast entry for IT 0416.
Go to SE51
Enter Program Name MP001400 and Screen Number 5000
Click on Copy and give the To Program name as MP041600 and screen number 5000.
Now make entries in table T588R (as 0416 - RPLFST01) and T588Q for IT0416
Also----
Select your Fast entry Menu first:
Personnel Administration -> Customizing procedure -> Infotype Menus -> Infotype menu ->
Select this option first - "User group dependency on menus and info groups"
Find your Fast entry menu number 07 or 09.
Go back and select "Infotype Menu" and enter the menu number 07 or 09.
You can see User group and Infotype number.
You can insert 0416 on this screen.
Now go to PA70 where you can view the IT0416 available for your selection.
